What motivated your participation:

Gratitude for that question. First of all, modeling is
one thing I’m obsessed with, I love the way it
represents fashion in an artistic and phenomenal way,
it channels it wonderfully. Mr Kwara Int’l is a pageant
that has its twist and turns, it represented everything I
wanted. I’ll simply say my love for modeling and the
will for me to take myself and Kwara to the next level.

What are the constraints (challenges) in nigeria

modeling industry in your own view:
*smiles* whoa, that’s a good question. Well they are
enormous and I might just take the whole interview
time to answer,( LoL), but then I’d say the basics. First
I strongly believe we are doing well, I mean the
number of fashion shows that takes place yearly is
worth recognizing, it has lead to people
acknowledging us as models in a positive way. But
lack of proper support, financially I mean from the
government is a major problem, we need their full
attention, also morally within the industry, lack of
technical know how by self acclaimed models, because
it takes a lot to be a model, its not a day job, rather
you see someone organizing an improper event. So
these and many more are the constraints we face, but I
can boastfully state that we are doing extremely well.

Focus for the brand:

Omg you don’t wanna see my memo, I have so many
things lined up for 2015, its a huge one. As Mr kwara
intl Tourism, I’m focusing on my pet project first and
part of it is to give back to the society in my own little
way, then I’ll be having a fashion show with my co title
holders, not to forget me and my Queen Miss Blessing
Kakawaye will be touring major tourist centers in
Kwara state all under the umbrella of K-TITAns
concepts. There’s so much more lined up, trust me.

Words for the youth:

My advice for the youth who wants to be like me is to
remain steadfast and be consistent in all that they do,
remember to put God first. Accept failure for it is
bound to happen, it prepares you for success and
enables your success story be an inspiring one. A big
thank you to everyone for their love and support, I love
you all.

What motivated you:

My passion for modelling motivated my participation
in this pageantry. Secondly, I thought within myself I
could be of great impact to my youths and society at
large with any given power or opportunity in this
pageant as I had the mind of a winner.

Comparing modelling in africa to modelling outside
africa, what do you think

Modelling in africa is growing meteorically, we are
really doing great and I believe that very soon, african
models are gonna do better…

What are the constraints in nigeria modelling
industry:

Well my only challenge in Nigeria’s Modelling
Industry is the fact models are not well respected,
models are to be respected because without them most
brands might not get the incomes they are getting now,
they should please respect the models.

My focus for the brand

My focus for the brand is to help in my best abilities to
help restore fashion sense and modelling in Kwara
state.To be able to give maximum support for the
enlargement of K’titans concept.

What do you have to say to the youths

My word for youths out there is to always be focused
and determined. Doing their best in whatever they find
themselves doing. And most of all have the mindset of
a winner as it gears you to winning. Thanks
