Chances are, you didn’t make it through your New Years celebrations without listening to Migos’ “Bad and Boujee” at least once. The opening “You know…” will send even the most tapped-out clubgoers charging back into the venue for one last turn up, so it’s no surprise it was selected as a remix for Fabolous and Trey Songz’ NYE release #TRAPPYNEWYEARS. Fab shares his own version of Offset’s iconic intro, while letting the Migos rapper handle the hook. Loso then makes good on his reputation of being the first to turn a trending topic into a punchline, “I know that she on my dick though / she Angela Yee and I’m Gucci.” Meanwhile, Trey Songz opts for a rap-influenced delivery, but always keeps a fair amount of melody in his lines. The release serves as a good warm-up for the singer’s upcoming Tremaine LP, due out in 2017
